Independent Art Registry & Documentation Service

Artforum Culture Foundation A.M.K.E.

The Independent Art Registry & Documentation Service of Artforum Hellas provides a secure and professionally managed framework for the registration of privately owned artworks in accordance with applicable legislation in Greece. The initiative is based on principles of confidentiality, independence, and structured documentation, ensuring a reliable foundation for the handling of artworks in both private and institutional contexts.

The service includes the professional documentation and registration of artworks, the secure internal archiving of all relevant records, and the issuance of written confirmation upon completion. Each registration is conducted under defined procedural standards, ensuring consistency, traceability, and professional integrity.

Registrations are carried out by individual appointment, either in Athens, at designated project locations, or—where appropriate—on-site across Greece. This flexible approach allows for tailored procedures adapted to the specific requirements of each artwork and its context.

All activities are guided by strict principles: confidentiality is ensured at all stages, with no data shared without explicit authorization; the registry operates independently and is managed in a neutral and professional manner.

Registration is subject to an appropriate fee, determined in relation to the scope of documentation and specific requirements. All applicable conditions are communicated in advance to ensure transparency. All procedures are aligned with the current legal framework in Greece.

Where applicable, registration may serve as a basis for further processes, such as verification or authentication procedures, which are subject to separate review and agreement.

Through this structured approach, the Art Registry contributes to clarity, responsibility, and trust in the documentation and management of artwork
